There was a debate going in the game thread about not trading for Johan Santana. The community was split on what they wanted. Who do people think the management tried to trade to get Santana?  I think it was Igawa, Mussina, and maybe, Farnsworth or Bruney. They also wanted a big bat also- maybe, the Yankees offered Matsui.  I think the Twins were foolish to turn the Yankees down.
